Consistency matters more than chasing a perfect number. Avoid large, sudden changes in GH, KH, pH or temperature.
Feed small amounts and allow shrimp to graze naturally on biofilm and surfaces in a mature aquarium. Remove excess food rather than letting it spoil.
Shrimp regularly shed their old shell as they grow. A stable mineral balance helps support normal moulting.
Match replacement water reasonably closely to the aquarium and avoid rapid changes. Regular testing helps you understand how your own tank behaves.
It is normal for shrimp to hide while settling in. Give them cover, keep the aquarium stable and avoid overfeeding while they adjust.
